The AMS Committee on Hydrology is excited to announce three openings for new members! The committee is a diverse and talented group of hydrological and hydrometeorological scientists spanning academia, government, and the private sector. In general, we expect members to attend monthly committee meetings (1 hour/month) and join at least one subcommittee (time commitment varies). Terms typically last three years, and can be renewed for a second term up to a maximum of six years. We welcome all applications, regardless of career stage, industry, background, etc. We especially encourage applicants who work in the private sector, social sciences, and/or who identify as mid- or senior-career.
