Description:
Committee members participate in planning for two meetings, the biennial Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology and the Symposium on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones at the AMS Annual Meeting. Other activities include selection of recipients for STAC Awards, the Banner Miller Award and the Joanne Simpson Award, occasional definition of terms for the AMS Glossary, and other occasional activities. Location may be both in person and virtual as needed
