Description:

As an ARAM member, either regular (senior) or student, you will be expected to actively contribute to the work of the committee.
ARAM conducts an annual conference, which nominally takes place during the AMS Annual Meeting.
ARAM also is involved in a variety of other activities, each of which requires some level of participation by one or more ARAM members, including the following:
* Maintaining a social media presence
* Managing a webpage on the AMS web site 
* Serving as subject matter experts to the AMS community for each of our three focal areas (aviation, range and aerospace meteorology)
* Submitting AMS award proposals
* Promoting early career opportunities
* Resolving questions about relevant terms found in the AMS Glossary of Meteorology
* Properly considering representation, accessibility, inclusion, and diversity issues in ARAM decisions
* Staying cognizant of opportunities to collaborate and integrate ARAM efforts with other STACs
* Holding a student best presentation paper at each ARAM conference or symposium
* Actively engaging with university meteorology programs
* Conducting webinars to introduce listeners to the fields of aviation, range and aerospace meteorology
* Monitoring the AMS Community Forum for issues of interest to the ARAM community
