After forty years of research and administration related to the atmospheric and oceanic sciences, I am now blissfully retired, working to eliminate a pesky tailing loop from my fly-casting technique and devising new, diabolical plot twists for my "Four Corners Mystery" novels.

Before retirement, my most recent position was Chief Scientist at the Southeast National Marine Renewable Energy Center and Professor of Geosciences, Florida Atlantic University. Previously, I was with the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Environmental Sciences, University of Colorado at Boulder. My full CV is online at .
